BHI is launching in stages. Free public education and tools come first; future directory work will open only after their operating controls are ready.
Plain-language guides that explain symptoms, care pathways, evidence, and useful questions without diagnosing or prescribing. This is the core activity being prepared for launch.
Current or staged public educationA browser-based symptom log and a visit preparation worksheet help people organize observations, medicines, timelines, and questions. Entries stay in page memory and can be copied or printed before leaving.
Current or staged public educationAccessible summaries that distinguish established evidence, emerging findings, uncertainty, and unanswered questions. Pages identify their source and review state.
Current or staged public educationEducational guidance for choosing a reasonable starting point, preparing records, and understanding practitioner credentials and scope. A curated nationwide directory of licensed clinicians and separately identified wellness practitioners is a future phase, subject to verification and governance.
Proposed future phaseWithin the planned directory, wellness practitioners will be clearly separated from licensed clinicians. Training credentials, evidence, scope, and conflicts will require review. Listing a wellness service will not imply that it is medical care or an effective treatment.
Proposed future phaseCan a reader explain the key idea and its uncertainty after using a resource?
Can a patient bring a clearer history and stronger questions to a visit?
Can someone identify a reasonable care path without paid placement influencing results?
No clinical outcome, directory coverage, or nonprofit status claim is implied by these measures. The launch register records the work still required.
