Better Health Institute is an independent public education project in North Carolina, preparing for nonprofit incorporation. Its purpose is to make complex health information clearer and care navigation less overwhelming.
Our mission
Better Health Institute is being developed to help people understand and navigate chronic and complex health challenges through accessible education, evidence-informed resources, research communication, and free health-tracking tools.
Who we serve
We are designing resources for patients, caregivers, and families dealing with persistent, overlapping, or unexplained symptoms. The work is intended to support preparation and communication with qualified clinicians; it does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide care.
What exists today
The public site contains educational resources and browser-based tool prototypes. The organization is not yet incorporated, has not received 501(c)(3) recognition, and does not currently operate a clinical service, practitioner directory, intake mailbox, or fundraising program.
Planned accountability
Standards come online with the organization.
Editorial review
We document sources, review dates, reviewer roles, and uncertainty. No current page is labeled medically reviewed.
Independence
BHI is being developed separately from the founder’s businesses. No integration, referral arrangement, or shared commercial operation is active.
